Music & Worship Ministry

Our vision is to provide Spirit-filled worship that connects with people and reflects our rich diversity in the Hilltop while maintaining Peace’s unique gift of Gospel music ministry. Music is central to worship at Peace and we use a variety of music styles, including Gospel music emphasis, hymns of faith, contemporary Christian and global music. Many people offer their musical gifts and talents during weekly worship, Sunday School, and for church events throughout the year.

Music & Worship Ministry Opportunities
Adult Gospel Choir –
One Thursday a month, 6 p.m.
The Gospel Choir lifts up the name of Jesus and sings praises to his name. The Gospel Choir sings the Sunday following rehearsal at the 11 a.m. service. The Gospel Choir is on break for the summer.
Assisting in Worship
Help facilitate the service by leading prayers, reading scripture, and welcoming worshipers. We need ushers, readers, assisting ministers, acolytes, musicians, and prayer ministers.
Altar Guild
Prepare communion elements, coordinate altar cloths to reflect the changing of the church seasons, and decorate the sanctuary.
Special Music
Individuals share their gifts in worship as instrumentalists or soloists.
Worship Committee
The committee responsible for planning and executing worship. Worship assistants, musicians, readers, ushers, and greeters are always needed.
